- Can I request for a laboratory test without doctor’s request?
Yes. Patients may do their laboratory tests in Makati Life Medical Center and may consult our doctors for best interpretation of results.
- How will I get the results?
Results are sent electronically via email, thru Makati Life Patient’s Portal and readily available in Medical Concierge.
- Can I ask someone to get my results?
There are tests that can be released to the person authorized by the patient and there are tests mandated by law that only patient can claim their results. (e.g. D-Dimer results, HIV Screening)
- What days are you open?
Laboratory Department is open 24/7 Monday to Sunday.
- Is it okay for me to take my medication before blood collection?
It would be best to consult your doctor to check the medication you need to take prior to blood extraction.
